Expand options?

Hi there,

I own the DDJ-400 and want to expand with a third deck. What are my options?

I've got a Xone K2 and can program a third channel but I need an option to jog a third channel. I understood in an other topic that buying a DDJ-200 will not work because this behaves as a deck 1 + 2 just like the DDJ-400 and there is no option to change this.

Someone?

Hey MicVerb,

While you could add another controller for the deck itself, the only problem you'd run into would be that there is no additional channel on the DDJ-400 to control the other channel's audio. I'd suggest considering a different controller with 4ch controls.

Hopefully my question is not a braincracker :-)

That's not the answer on my question. The question is, what are my options to control a THIRD deck? I assume a separate CDJ would do the trick but I am afraid for some software limitations for that specific situation.

I want to use my DDJ-200 for deck 1 & 2 and the additional controller for deck 3. For controlling audio on deck 3, I have a Xone K2. The only thing I need is a jog-option for deck 3.

Again, what are my options for this situation? I am quite sure there is an other option then buying a new 4-deck controller but it shouldn't surprise me when Rekordbox is limited in functionality to do so (Traktor can do it).

As above, you could add another controller or CDJ to do that, no problem. What's handling the audio (not mixer control)?
