@David > Could you give us a little more information? Your hardware, your setup, your music source, what kind of audio files you play, where you get your music from, how you prepare your music etc etc.

Had this a few times when the unit looks for a track that is no longer available. In my example I imported a track into record box which was sitting on a network share, then used the player to access the track via record box after the network share was gone. So, it was seeing the track via RB but the actual track was not accesible.

Gavin

Yeah, sharing over a network is far from optimal. Some users are trying to set things up through their home servers which can be buggy too. I only use my home server as a backup.

i have two cdj 2000 and a djm 600 mixer. i download all my music from beatport. mp3's only. i then put my tracks into platinum notes and mixed in key. then upload into rekord box. i then link my 2000's with my laptop to so i can play via rekord box. any ideas? am i doing something worng?

thanks to alex mcdonald for your input but i don't understand what you mean.

simple english needed for me. thanks guys.

Gavin

@David > What happens if you play the track without involving Platinum Notes and MiK in the process? Does the track play normally?
