4.0.4 bugs
- While paused on a cue point I sometimes get weird static noise that only goes away after repeatedly tapping the jog wheels, this has only started happening since the 4.0.4 update.
- The pad themselves can at times be either unresponsive or delayed with hot cues/slicer.
- Sometimes when you hit pads while in Hot Cue mode the track plays but no audio.
- Sometimes while scratching when you stop you get screeching/static noise that will not stop.
- Some tracks need to be loaded a second time onto the decks, as the first attempt they will not play.
I have to say I'm not impressed at all with all the issues and regret buying the DDJ-RX as for me you just can't trust or use the controller live.

Hello all,
Sorry, there were some miscommunication among engineers. The issues reported here are being addressed, but they may not be included in 4.0.5.
Only the following audio issue will be fixed in 4.0.5.
These two issues among the five Bazzyboo reported in this thread will be fixed in a future update.
However, we are still working on investigating other issues.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience until the fix is ready.

having similar issues with hot cues sounding distorted before playing them and audio skips. 4.0.3 never had this problem.
Well described. I'm having similar issues with 4.0.4. This is new because 4.0.3 didn't have it.
@Bazzyboo > All these issues have already been reported to engineers and will be addressed in upcoming releases.
I found that issue about static noise only happend to me when I have the Key Lock turned on, and also the VU metters (DDJ-SX) dont stop blinking even if the slider is off. If i turn off keylock, those issues disapear. Both happend only since 4.0.4.
@feel4steel yes I've since noticed that the issue doesn't occur when key lock is off. Thanks for highlighting that fact and lets still hope that 4.0.5 comes out sooner rather than later, as key lock is pretty instrumental to my DJ sets.
Great to hear that the static is being addressed. I find this happens when playing more than two decks, as we with layered effects, on off and moving in and out of parameters. Both pad and top main effx
Also, I find with scratching, that the marker I platter (ddjrz) is a bit laggy, though by ear I am okay, but still this can be a nuisance, especially while juggling
@lennonpearson
Yes I've noticed this too, but saw it through 4.0.0 to now. Platter display seems slightly lagged compared to CDJs and also compared to DDJ-SZ on Serato.
I commented on this during my youtube review. Hopefully RB can tighten this up a little bit. only affects me when I scratch or beat juggle.
