Set Memory Cue and Active Loop from RZX

Hi

I usually prep my sets standing by the controller in performance mode.

I wonder if I can set memory cues and active loops from the controller without having to mess with the PC/Mouse?

Thx

By default, no - there is no control set-up for memory cue management, but you can map them yourself to any button you desire to change its function:

I added Memory Cue Set and Memory Cue Delete under PAD on deck 1/2 but they get type BUTTON.

I want Hot Cue Pad 7 to be Memory Cue Set and Hot Cue Pad 8 Memory Cue Delete.

How can I achieve that? We have to keep in mind these slots are occupied by the Hot Cue 7/8, so I suppose I need to either reassign the Hot Cue slot or delete them altogether and reassign the new ones, but If I get the new ones as Button that won't work I suppose?

Well, I tested several things since my last post:

- I changed the Hot Cue 6 value (9905) on deck 3 with the Active Loop value (9250). That didn't work. I guess its because I can't program a button function to a pad ditto.

When I ran LEARN it reverted back to the original value.

- I assigned the Active Loop midi value (9250) to the Capture Slice button, but it did't allow me. I guess its because the Capture Slice button is one of these hard ones that you cannot reassign.

So, my question would be; if its true that Memory Cue and Active Loops are strictly BUTTON assignments, which buttons on the RZX would I be allowed to assigned them to?

This is an intriguing task :)

Could the support give me a bit of help. Please read my last post in this thread.

Thank you
