XDJ-RX2 - Vinyl mode works only in Pause Mode. why?

just got a brand new RX2 + Rekordbox 6
im trying to use vinyl mode \ search mode, any scratch\vinyl function wont work until i click on pause, then its work.
how do i fix that?

You might not be in vinyl mode; is the blue VINYL button illuminated? Do you see a blue ring on the jog LED?
1. i dont see a blue ring
2. why not be in vinyl mode? lets say i just load a new track, i wanna fast forward it to 00:35 before i play it (like used in DDJ-SZ)
3. lets say im playing a track and i wanna touch the jog to scratch it
it doesnt work
4. what about shift+jog touch to beatjump like in ddj-sz?

then i pause the track, and now vinyl mode is working correctly

JOG's touch sensor doesn't seem to work.
Does the situation change if I do the following?
①Change the installation location of XDJ-RX2.
②Change the location to connect the power cord.
If the JOG does not respond after ① and ②, it may be better to send it for repair.
i dont think its sensor issue, since it works great WHEN THE SONG IS PAUSED
its just doesnt work when the song is playing.
THE PROBLEM IS THE SAME IN DISK ON KEY MODE, so its not related to a driver or something....right?

but WHEN I PAUSE THE TRACK it acts GREAT!
and it happens in both decks 1 +2
how its possible their two sensors dont work?

BUMPING this thread since it seems there was never an answer given.
I'm experiencing the exact same issue on my XDJ RX2 with the latest firmware, 1.42.
Vinyl button is set to ON.
If I press play on a track, the jogwheel only slows down/speeds up the track as if the Vinyl button is not on.
If I pause the track, I can suddenly use the jogwheel as intended. Sensors seem to be working fine, just not when they're supposed to.
I've been scouring RX2 menus, Rekordbox menus and other message boards and can only find unanswered questions. Please help.
