If it's beyond what you feel should be audible, there is a possibility it's faulty - please either return it to your retailer (if you're within the return period) or contact Pioneer DJ technical support in your region to have your RR inspected and/or serviced.
Where is the MIC level knob set to? Does the noise occur with the level all the way at the minimum?
