5.1.1 & 5.2 Rekordbox Bug with DDJ-RX

This change aligns the DDJs with the performance method of CDJs and XDJs.

If the jog is rotated in CUE mode, the cue point will be moved only by softly touching the jog wheel without turning it. This change was made to prevent such unintended behavior.

In Vinyl mode, when you touch the jog wheel in Cue mode, it will jump to the cue point. However, you will be able to select whether the cue point is moved or jumping to a Cue point.  You can find this option from Preferences > Controller > Deck > JOG.

You have disabled vinyl mode - press and hold SHIFT + SLIP and it will re-enable vinyl mode.

I don't want to play in vinyl mode.I want to use controller in cdj mode.It doesn't work in5.1.1 and 5.2.

I  had already filed 2 tickest and that nobody had responded.

I have the same Bug and i use DDJ-RR console.

The only way is to push play and cue once and then the jog wheel will work .

I am waiting like crazy the next Super Update just to see how many bugs will be fix :)

IN CDJ MODE:

"after upgrade from 5.0.3, jog wheel not work at 5.1.1 & 5.2. when i want change cue point with jog wheel, jog wheels isn't forward or backward the tracks. with SHIFT button fast forward is working. but without SHIFT button don't work."

IN VINYL MODE:

work fine.

hi everyone. i dont use vinyl mode an i dont want to use vinyl mode. i am not a scratch dj. i am playing tech house & deep house party  long time till morning. change cue point is important for me. sometimes i touched top of the jog, track is stopped. i dont want to use  vinyl mode. however.. question is simple. at Version 5.0.3 CDJ MODE is working (track forward - track backward) this is the 5.0.3 video link.  why its not working on 5.1.1 & 5.2.

I posted on this topic because I encountered exactly the same problem.
If you read my previous posts, I see that I have totally appreciated Pioneer products and even if you have directed me to the CRM team, I have not had any feedback.
I still apologize once, but I am stubborn to use only Pioneer-sourced products and I want to use them at their true value.

thanks your answer.  its ok. but i want to ask again. for dj's easy to use without (for  fasting use) Press the Play/Pause. 

5.0.3 is can do it without Press the Play/Pause.  Rekordbox 5.1.1 & 5.2 change this. 

why remove  this specification from 5.1.1 & 5.2.  every track pressing Play/Pause & use jog. its time loss for dj.

Maybe switchable Press the Play/Pause  or Direct use jog?

This was changed to behave the same way CDJs do.

Tengo el mismo problema, pero lo pude solucionar poniendo la pista en pausa, recién en ése momento el jog mueve la pista. Es un trastorno y pérdida de tiempo pero parece la única solución. Rekordbox retrocedió un casillero con este cambio

I have the same problem, but I could solve it by putting the track on pause, just at that moment the jog moves the track. It is a disorder and waste of time but it seems the only solution. Rekordbox went back one square with this change.

My controller is DDJ-RX
