DDJ Rev7 Waveforms out of sync

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfXJ_6Qk_hU

Video shows the issue

When two songs are beatmatched but have high % differences in pitch, the waveforms on the Rev7 don't run parrallel and the beat grid marker only comes together at the centre line

The smaller waveform kind of races towards and away from the centre line

The waveforms and grids track fine in serato

That is perfectly normal; you'll see the two waveforms matching at the play head as they should since they're moving at different speeds, not sync + stretched.

Do you have the newest firmware installed?  You reach a point where the % is extreme enough to cause a drift, do you have Pitch n Time installed?

George Gornall

Pitch and  Time is installed and I am on firmware 1.02

Is this really normal and if so, what is the point of the in-jog displays if the beatgrid does not stay aligned except when it reaches the play head when the tracks are beatmatched?

Why is it different to the serato display that remains fully aligned?
