XDJ R1 XLR and RCA connection Noise
I connected my XDJ R1 to an active speakers and then to an active M Audio Monitors and once i rise up at full the gain of both cases , i notice like a white noise once coming from the speakers... When i put it at middle the noise do not feeling... I dont know why this is happening... Is this normal or what?

When there's music playing, you wouldn't have your gains full-open, more like 10 o'clock, meaning you won't introduce as much noise, nor would it be heard over the audio.
Thanks for your reply. according you told me, i should put the gain of the speakers at 10 o'clock positioning in order to not feel the noise?
No, your channel gain on the R1 should be set for each track so the level meters peak around 0dB, and the master volume of the R1 is set so the master level peaks around 0dB as well. The speaker volume is set based on how loud you want to hear the music!
That's ok, but my problem is that when i connect the XLR outputs of the R1 on the Speakers, a white noise (like the sound of bad synthonized TV) on them increase. This effects is perceptable when the gain of the speakers is at full.
As i beleive, the XLR are a balanced output so, no noise may exist on the speakers right?
I would verify that the pin set of the speakers matches the hot/cold/neutral configuration of the R1, it could be that's a cause -- or it could be ground-loop interference.
Ok, i will verify that you told me about the matching but, thats not a Standart Connection? ... ... For the other way, what do you refer with ground-loop interference? This is cause because of?

it's the "normal" sss the old amplifier sound in the end of the video. New amps don't have noises, when connected in a 80$ pc usb dac audio card.
But it's not that bad when music is playing, maybe pioneer wants to send a message :)

if I take the cables off or if I connect the soundcard there is no noise. The amplifier is based on LM4780, a chip that is silent. it's from the R1, but it's ok
If i turn up the speakers without the R1 exist a faint little noise... once i connect the R1 the noise increments a lot!
And when you have music playing?
When i have music playing this noise is hidden by the sound but, once the song has a silence, it feels again... it never goes...
Please contact Pioneer DJ technical support in your region to have the unit inspected, there may be a hardware fault causing the excessive noise.
out of curiosity, can you record it with a good sound card?
Yes but i can fell the noise... the support on my country is so poor, i cant contact them!
