[SOLVED] Problem trying to update to 1.10 on my cdj 2000 nexus
I am trying to update both my cdj 200 nexus, everything is fine, I turn off both cdjs, then unhook everything but power, then I hold usb and reloop buttons and turn on cdj. the cdjs go into update mode in wich it asks for the usb to be connected in order for it to be update. I hookup the usb and nothing happens? I have tried new subs, lexar, kingston, all in fat 32 and nothing happens. The weird part is that the subs work for music I hook them up to play music and they work. Although both cdjs are recognize the usb slow when i first hook them up. What could it be, both cdjs are not recognizing the usb when in update mode . Please help me.

you should format the drive FAT32 like you have and ONLY place the """C2KNXS.UPD""" file on that drive. Is that what you are doing or are you putting the downloaded zip file on the drive?
yes brichi, the drives are on Fat32 and I only placed the c2knxs.upd file on the root of the usb. I am not using the zip file. thats why this is all so weird, nothing happens at all.
damn, im lost then, you are doing veything right as far as I can tell, Can you maybe shoot a quick video and post it from beginning to end?
I have had this happen but it was because I had the drive formatted OSX which is fine for music but not for the update
WOw..somehow it worked this time.. I just left the file completely alone this time. Brichi thank you so much for you help man, you're a legend!
