[SOLVED] Rekordbox 3.0 isn't playing any music when i hit the play button.

Hi

I'm having problems with the new Rekordbox 3.0. When i start it up everything is fine and  i can preview and play from the list. but when i load it in the player the play button doesnt work. The wave form isn't moving just the green light turns on.

Is there anybody else who has the same problem? I'm using Windows 8 and only have rekordbox 3.0 installed on my computer.and  It's running on administrator and i didnt change the audio.

Thanks for the help!

What are the audio settings?

Arjan Wagensveld

These are the audio settings

Try a couple of things -- first, if you have the ability to change it to another audio device, please do so. Second, change the samplerate down to 44.1, and also adjust your latency - it doesn't need to be so high.

Anyone visiting this thread because they can't play a track in rekordbox - please post your audio settings as @Arjan has done above.

Ashley Bell

I have the same issue, my audio settings are 192,000 Hz

As advised above I changed my sample rate in windows (Sound > Speakers > Properties > Advanced)

This resolved the issue and I can now play tracks.

Okay, so that confirms my hunch that the issue was with the samplerate. I'll see if this is something the engineers can comment on.

MJB

Can confirm that lowering the sample rate fixed the issue.

can also confirm that dropping sample rate in sound card settings resolved problem. thanks a lot Pulse! I appreciate your feedback
