[CLOSED] Recording audio at 24bit 96khz using a DJM 2000

Hi everyone:

I have a question.

Can I use my DJM2000 to record at 24bit 96khz?

Say I have a turntable connected to a channel in the DJM 2000, can I rip my vinyl record at 24bit 96khz?

I routinely record my mixes, but I understand that the DJM2000 soundcard has certain limitations that I cannot remember right now, and I am wondering if its possible to record at this bit-depth with my mixer without having to spend $ on an external soundcard.

If I remember correctly, the limitation was based on how many inputs you could have and how many outputs you could have simultaneously. But in this situation, I would only care for one input (the TT) since all I want to do is rip my record to have a digital copy.

Thanks,

F

is it too much to ask that you RTFM

no if connecting/recording via usb

yes if using an external recorder hooked up to the outputs

even opening the DJM2000 setting utility would have given you the answer .....

thanks Mr Green

i was away when i asked this, away from my music computer which has the utility, and didn't read the manual

i admit i should've read the manual but it was a simple yes / no answer... most of the questions asked in these forums can be answered by RTFM and still people answer them and are helpful; sorry but im just extremely annoyed at this place nowadays and pioneer itself... as a DJM 2000 owner that's all I have to say... i.e. probably one of the worst supported products here (doesn't have to do with my question, but yes to my frustration in general)

thanks

staff: just close it up then; i guess this is another limitation of the soundcard of the 2000; thanks

yep, frustration and anger are rife now on these forums ..... zero contact from Pioneer, maybe its a tactic of theirs, get us all fighting amongst ourselves out of frustration, divide and conquer.
