[OPEN] pioneer ddj sx2 platter takes music backwards when I go forward
Hello..I just got the Pioneer DDJ SX2 brand new. I am having an issue with the DDJ SX2 platters. The platters have an issue and I am wondering if anyone else is having this issue or knows a fix for it. When I am playing a track, on either platter, and I decide to nudge it forward on the top (NOT THE SPEED NUDGE ON THE SIDES). The track actually goes backwards first then stops and goes forward!
I have tried on two macbook pro laptops, both running Yosemite 10.10.1. One is a quad core (15 inch non retina) with 16 GB of ram and 500 GB SSD. The other laptop is a 13 inch retina dual core with 8 GB of ram and a 512 SSD. Due to this issue occurring with both laptops I am assuming it is not the laptops but is this a software issue or the actual DDJ SX2? If it is the DDJ SX2 then I would want to get it replaced ASAP since I just purchased it.
Has anyone seen or experienced this? Any help would be appreciated!

P.S. This is my first pioneer hardware and I hope it works out well so I can keep it. I have checked my software and I am running serato DJ 1.7.2.

I ended up switching it out where I purchased it and now the current/replacement has a platter that no longer responds to my touch. Looks like pioneer is not for me unfortunately and I may have to return it all together.
I am having same problem and more,. Mine just flashes censor light and other pads and play backwards either too fast or too slow. I have updated firmware, reinstalled serato, nope, problem continues!
