XDJ-1000 nothing appearing on jogwheel or touchscreen displays
Hi. I just purchased the XDJ-1000 (not the mk2) and when I turned them on I see that the USB gets a light along with both loop lights, but the jogwheel display and the touchscreen display show nothing whatsoever and I'm not able to use them for anything. I wish to try a factory reset, but I don't know how to do that and as these were demo units at a store the only return option I have is a refund which I'd rather not do so any and all help with fixing this would be appreciated.

Have you tried updating the firmware?
did you press the button on the touchscreen labelled "USB"?
In terms of nothing being displayed I mean absolutely NOTHING!!!!! How can I press any buttons in that scenario?

apologies, when you said "nothing" I assumed you meant no menu structure or waveforms etc

When I hit the button combo required I see no prompt for updating the firmware whatsoever on the touchscreen.
