DDJ-800 distorted audio in OBS using ASIO

I followed this guide

the sound is distorted when recording or streaming.
What I did notice was:
In Rekordbox, change from DDJ-800 ASIO to Line In (DDJ-800)
In OBS select Line In (DDJ-800) as the audio capture
sound is then perfect (although settings in Rekordbox means that I cannot use the DDJ correctly)
This leads me to beliee that the issue is with the ASIO driver , etc

Distortion as in crackling audio? Two things you can try:
1) Increase the size of the buffer in the preferences:
2) Disable Intel Turbo Boost.
