AIFC files won't load in software
Recently I've noticed Bandcamp started to serve me a lot of AIFC files instead of AIFF - the problem is that my Rekordbox won't load them. This forces me to manually change them from .aifc to .aif, which is of course annoying..
Why?
Downloading in .wav is not an option.

If it's an AIFF-C file, there's no actual compression, so it can simply be renamed to .aif or .aiff, and it will work.
A conventional AIFC which has compression, will not play, as they are not supported by rekordbox. Sorry!
Dear Pioneer, I have the same problem as MM. Thanks for the answer.
After changing to .aif, and it does load into Rekordbox. Does this also mean it will load/play for sure when I load it on to my usb and take it to the club? Or will I find out when it's too late?
Will this be fixed in the future?

Well, if it can't be imported, you'd know before ever exporting.
