Midi map headphone mix impossible with controller
Rekordbox doesn't let me control headphone level and cue mix when a controller is attached. I use in ear monitor and depend heavily on the headphone mix knob on a DJM. Now with my DDJ-RB i can't since the knob isn't there... can it be made possible to "open up" these functions in a next update? I thought I could midi map my sample level on the DDJ-SP1 or the master level on my DDJ since I never use those!
It has taken the fun out of mixing with Rekordbox, and thats a shame!

@Peter > You can map those functions, but unfortunately with the DDJ-RB the audio routing for the headphones doesn't allow for a mixing of the master and cue as that is actually done on the hardware itself; the headphone level knob and source selector buttons, while they send MIDI, are also acting as audio controls as their primary function. This is why it's disabled in the software.
I was able to map those two functions to a non-pioneer controller. When your DDJ-RB is connected do those headphone options appear in the 'Mixer' section of the midi mapping window?
Is there not a way to override it so I can use the SP1? This pretty much is useless for me :(
Currently, no, sorry.
How come i can fix this in other software? Surely they use the audio card and routing as well... but in DJay Pro, VDJ and Traktor it wasn't a problem. Pity, I would love to invest my time on RB Pro and eventually DVS
