Has the CDJ-900 Nexus been replaced by the XDJ-1000?
I'm sure this is not answerable however I am curious if this model in the line up will be replaced with revised unit IE: CDJ-900 Nexus2? I understand that Pioneer would consider this confidential of course.
Just curious. I'm about to pull the plug on two of 900NXS and was wondering if I should wait. In other words - is another model due to be released anytime this year or next? Anyone have a best guess? I just noticed some major DJ stores IE: Guitar Center does not carry the 900 Nexus anymore so I was wondering if a new model is going to be released soon.
Just on a side note. Its hard to deny that the XDJ-1000 has most everything I'd need for less than the cost of the 900NXS however I am a stickler for a few features that the XDJ-1000 does not have IE Wolfson DAC and a few others.

If you need a CDJ-900NXS now, buy it now. If you don't and you can wait, then wait.
As you expect, we can't provide any information as to if / when products may be released, but Pioneer DJ is always working on "the next thing" no matter which product range. I can tell you that if you look at historical dates for product announcements, they're almost always around a major trade show date (NAMM, DJ Expo, Musikmesse, etc.), so check the cycles and hedge your bets. ;)
I would be very surprised if Pioneer would produce any new CD players except for the 2000 line. It's only in clubs CD-support is essential, for the very few DJ's that can't seem to transition to USB-sticks. I predict that Pioneer will phase out the 350, 850 and 900 models quite soon, keep the XDJ line and CDJ 2000
Check out the XDJ 1000 MK2!
Ahh. I like some of the features in the 2000 series that aren't in the XDJ. I hope they don't give me a hard decision if I wait.
I looked at the XDJ, I would like it if it had:
What I'd like to see is a CDJ model that is:
just my 2 cents in case Pioneer is listening.
