Analyze Videotracks from HDD will stop working

Hey Support, i found a bug in rekordbox video function.

When i analyze a few files from a HDD, rekordbox will stop working after some seconds. i have to kill the process in task manager to get it working again.

This does not appear on a SSD.

i dig deeper into it and i think the transferrate from hdd is too small for rekordbox.
rekordbox will analyze as many files as logical threads are in the machine.

for example, my macbook pro has 4 core i7 with hyperthreading - 8 logical threads posible.
-> rekordbox will analyze 8 files at once.

for audio files that is no problem, but video files will dramaticly exceed the transferrate.

my question is:
is there any hidden option to tell rekordbox how many files it should analyze at once?

thx and greetings
sasha

@Sasha > Can you please try toggling the analysis mode to "normal," quit rekordbox, then re-open rekordbox, toggle back to "performance" and try again?

@Pulse > done it, but it changed nothing. i have done a short screen recording of it, where you can see the analize will stop working, where can i upload/send it to you? Should i upload it to youtube?

Sasha Ice

Hi Pulse, do you have any idea what i can do?

is there any option where to set how many files are analyzed at once?

Hey Sasha Ice, I'm not here because of this precise post, I'm here because I really need you to help me with providing me the app/software you talked about in another post, which made possible the export of the Rekordbox Playlists to a common folder system in a USB.

The link to the original post I'm talking about is (https://forums.pioneerdj.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115010158826-Rekordbox-Export-playlists-as-actual-folders-to-a-USB-stick).

I would really appreciate if you could help me with this, since I'm preparing to play in different clubs and not all of them use a Pioneer system.

Thanks!
