Serato Pitch ’n Time DJ on the DDJ-SX2

Hello,
I see that the DDJ-SX2 comes with the Pitch ’n Time DJ plugin license but the controller does not have any dedicated buttons to control the Key Up, Key Down, Key Sync or Key Reset functions. Does anyone know if these functions can be mapped to the controller via MIDI?
Thank you,

I use PnT specifically for improved master tempo quality - but you're right, there are no pads assigned by default. I would recommend using the VELOCITY SAMPLER pads for that function.

Thank you for your reply but apparently:  “Hardware features that cannot be remapped at this stage are the Jogwheels/Platters, Input Switches, Shift buttons and Performance Pad Mode buttons.”

as specified here: https://support.serato.com/hc/en-us/articles/209377487-MIDI-mapping-with-Serato-DJ?mobile_site=true

Hmmm, I was pretty sure those were assignable with the hardware remapping enabled... advantage rekordbox! lol

Hello,

I'm using a DDJ-SX2 but I can't see the pack in my extensions. They say I need to buy it ?! I know the twist that we could have it for free before 2017 and mine is 2016 I think.

How can we get it ? We shall pay for it, that's the only option ? It's not fair for users having this product before 2017...

Thanks for your help.

Hi Clem,

The promotion is listed as:

"The Pitch 'n Time DJ licence comes with any DDJ-SX2 shipped by us in June 2017 or later."

Unfortunately if your DDJ was sold prior to that date, you would have to purchase the PnT license separately. Sorry.
