Rekordbox 6.6.1/6.6.2 Crashes when analyzing ALAC files

So i recently ran a couple of my library files through Platinum notes to normalize volume and then convert from mp3 to Apple Lossless (16bit/44khz). After conversion,i tried importing the files into rekordbox for analysis etc etc. Rekordbox imports successfully but then keeps crashing after analysing like a 100+ files(total number of files = 7500). I tried both versions of the software above but keep getting the same results. FYI: the original mp3 files still work as normal inside rekordbox and have not been relocated.

Does it crash on certain files or just after X number being analysed?

After trying it a couple of times ,i thought it was certain files that were too large so i deleted those ones and decided to try them in small batches that the problem still occurs. so i cant tell anymore what is actually causing the crash. Luckily i backed up my collection before attempting this so i can always go back but this means i cant have high quality Apple Lossless files in my library:(

I'd suggest disabling the auto-analysis in the preferences so it only runs when you manually tell it to analyse songs (if you haven't already done that), then see if there are specific songs causing it to crash as that would help our team investigate the cause if we can narrow it down to a specific song (or songs).

ok will try that out and see what happens

so you've converted all mp3 to flac which means you upscaled all your mp3 thinking you are getting lossless files when you ain't lmfaooo
