tested and DOES NOT fixed the issue when switching the jog's color which causing a small noise

Vladimir

Hi everybody. Unfortunately the  firmware update to 1.06 doesn't solve the problem at all. It's just muting noise at startup. Playing tracks when master volume is muted  causes that SMALL noise (about -60dB! In tech spec. of WeGo Signal to Noise ratio:101 dB ), still is distinctly audible at master output. I'm disappointed that Pioneer is just masking the noise problem.

SoupRice

yea bump, the buzzing noise still exist...

Mark Brown

still have the problem here, the sound can be effected by the LED's...this sucks.

Mark Brown

this firmware update also killed the volume meter LEDs when using traktor pro...

Jay

I will look into this and double check if the noise was removed by then FW update.

Dave Stokes

confirmed here too after updating to 1.06. this is a deal breaker. please advise

Vladimir

update v 1.06 -> v 1.07 the same issue with noise :(((((((

Dave Stokes

Yeah, same here. Problem still exists

Simon Mason

Yep Same problem for me too! with all versions of firmware so far, although version 1:00 to 1:04 made the biggest difference to the noise (it was pretty much unbareable on v1:00) since then though the sound is still there andaffected by the lights changing.

Jay

I am looking into this, and first need more information from those having the noise issue.

  1. When does the noise occur,  example, after pressing a certain button or switching something?

 2. What set-up are you using- MAC/PC/Version/Connection?

 Thank you for your help.......

Simon Mason

The noise is constant for me, and more noticeable at higher volumes - the master volume on the wego it's self doesn't affect how loud the noise is but the volume Controll on what ever I plug it into does. (As a result I have to keep the external master volume very low to minimise the amount of noise I get). The noise gets worse when the lights on the jog wheels change. And weirdly some colours are worse than others - I've found that red/dark blue or dark green appear to provide the least noise.

In terms of what set up I'm using I'm on a PC running Vista. If you need any more info please ask, having spent money on this I'm quite keen to get it working properly!

@Simon > Thanks for your feedback. We'll update the engineers and get back to you with an answer ASAP.

Gavin

@Simon > We've received some feedback from the engineers. It seems that this issue may be hardware related and they, therefore, advise you to send in your unit to your local repair centre to be serviced.

Jay

@Simon, I suggest that you contact Pioneer Tech support and report the issue, I feel it is a hardware concern.

Gavin

@Simon > You are welcome!
