Windows 10 Updates Are Wiping My DJ Library

Hello,

I am running rekordbox 6.1.0 on Windows 10.

Windows 10 automatically updates itself periodically, and every time this happens, my library is left blank. All the tracks, playlists, cues, waveforms, etc. are gone. (the audio files themselves are still on my PC, but that's it. No error reports of which I'm aware.)

I previously had version 6.0.4 on this computer. This happened for the first time about a month ago; Windows updated itself, and my rekordbox library was completely erased. This happened again after an auto update, so I manually uninstalled 6.0.4 and installed 6.1.0, but the problem persists. Just now Windows updated itself for the fourth time, and every time, my library is gone.

Would appreciate any suggestions with this.

Harry

This is highly unusual; I'm going to ask you to please file an inquiry ticket here and our support team will gather some additional information to assist you in resolving this issue.

I have Windows 10 and RB 6.1.0 and I don't see this issue. Is your RB library on an external disk? Does the drive letter change after the update? Do you know how to lock the drive letter on the drive so it stays the same everytime the drive is attached?

No, it's not on an external disk. The drive letter, C:, is unchanged.
