Hot Cues
Hot cues are labelled on screen as A, B C, D, E, F, G and H.
this causes me great confusion as I don't look at the pads as the alphabet. So once they're past A, B, C, D in the track, I'm lost. Yet I do see them as 4x2 1 through to 8.
I propose the they can be changed to 1 - 8. That I can see and understand immediately, there's no conversion going in my brain.
Now this could be changed in the config so people can select the method they prefer.
It could/should also work for things like the XP1/XP2, which adds even more confusion to me. Number I see. Letters I don't.
BTW I have aspergers, so yes I really really struggle converting letters to numbers, but I see numbers all over the place.

Hi Daz,
I understand your request however the entire system has been designed around the hot cues being letter-oriented rather than number-oriented, and many hardware units also directly refer to these as letters. For example, the CDJ-3000:
...and XDJ-1000MK2:
Hi Pulse.
I understand the reluctance to change it.
But can't a switch be added to the configuration panel, the default stays on letters but for us numberphiles you can turn on numbers...? That way you have both, there's a lot of DDJ gear that has no label at all, so the it wouldn't be a huge stretch to make the change.
I can certainly pass this along however I don't see this as likely to change, sorry.
That's all I can ask.
Thanks Pulse.
