PLX 500 Static and poor sound
I recently changed cartridges and the sound quality is horrible. It has a distorted low quality sound. I put a Brand new Concorde Scratch head and needle. Has anyone else tried these needles or had a similar issue? Also, the PLX sounds fine with stock setup and is Brand New. Thanks

Don't know your setup.
But I made the misstake with my PLX-500 and DJM-250mk2 that I used Line in on both the mixer and the turntables. Try to set the turntable on Phono and connect then RCA to phono as well, it made the quality go up for me.
