DDJ SR2

I've downloaded the driver as instructed but the Controller still doesn't get detected in Serato DJ. I've tried using different USB ports on my laptop but it still doesn't make any difference.

@Maku > Here's what they have to say about the blinking censor LED:

The blinking censor button indicates abnormal power supply. This button blinks when power input to the computer is not sufficient when using the Bus Power or any issues occurred in the USB cable.

Also, the blink will continue even if you connect an AC adapter without removing the USB cable while the button is blinking due to the Bus Power issue. Please make sure to first remove the USB cable before connecting an AC adapter to launch the unit again.

If the same issue continues even after connecting an AC adapter and launch the unit again, it may be a hardware issue. Please ask customers to send the unit to a service center.

what laptop specs and OSX are you running?

Are you using the external power supply?

Hi team, I had this issue right at the beginning of when I bought my DDJ SR2, then it appeared to go away. I even played a couple of gigs with it, using the power supply. I sold it last night to a fellow, as it wasn't the right controller for me, but now he's having this issue, and he's not able to get it to function. He switches it on, then the censor button flashes repeatedly without any changes further. He says he's tried it with and without the power supply, using different USB ports. He said he has installed the drivers onto his laptop too. Can anybody shed light onto what this means? It was working last night, now this guy I've sold it to is trying it with his laptop and it's not doing anything for him!!

(Also I'm trying to access the product's FAQ page, but it appears that it's no longer available on the site...)

@Maku > Usually if that happens, a firmware update resolves it, but we don't have any updates beyond the factory firmware to provide. Let me see what our product team has to say.
