sb3 not functioning.

whenever i connect my controller to my computer the lights all flash then only the hot cue stays lit up. at one point in time it worked fine but now its basically an overcomplicated aux out. ive uninstalled drivers and reinstalled. did the firmware update for controller. nothing i do will get it fully working. also downloaded midi ox to test and all buttons are reading and working

Hey Johnny,

Sorry to hear that -- the main issue with the SB3 is that the computer hosting it is not providing adequate power to the controller. Please try using another USB port or a different USB cable.

If you are not using Serato DJ Lite, please use that software to troubleshoot.

If you are using a PC and you have control but no audio output, check that Windows has not set the SB3 as the default audio device (it should be your computer's default audio interface, not the SB3).

Let us know if that works.

As i said before. Its worked before and im aware the CHANNEL light will blink if the powers insufficient. I had power and downloaded midi ox and discovered all of the buttons were responding. But the controller input wasnt responding in serato or rekordbox.

Not just blinking LED; even if the power is above the threshold, it could still have this issue.

Power was not the issue. As stated twice now it had worked on the same computer previously less than a week ago. I found the issue. And will be making a thread i suppose since the ONLY option you guys keep giving me is not enough power even though i stated it was working for putting out sound it just wasnt being responsive. I stated i Downloaded MIDI OX and ALL THE BUTTONS WERE RESPONSIVE! However they werent allowing input into serato or rekordbox. Please take more time to peoperly read the issue instead of sounding like a scripted overseas worker that is useless.
