Change date format in histories

The date formatting for rekordbox histories is backwards. is there a way of formatting it to a more sensible sequence?

As in "day , month and year?"

Cheers

DD-MM-YY or MM-DD-YY are archaic sorting formats; it should always go largest-to-smallest, the same way time does.

YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS

The yyyy-mm-dd format that RB uses actually makes perfect sense and makes it easier for systems to sort the playlists in order.

it would be nice to have the option

Ian Jones

The same way time does? Are you on acid ?

Pulse

No - hours are larger than minutes are larger than seconds. What part of that was derived from an acid trip?

Ian Jones

well there's a reason we have a second hand on a clock and not a year hand for starters

Pulse

And if someone asks you the time, do you give it to them in seconds / minutes / hours?

Ian Jones

True, but an hour is quite different than a year. (obviously).

That being said, you are an official representative of Pioneer yes?

You represent Pioneer as a brand?

Do you think entering into pissing contest with a Pioneer customer endears the brand to me, or repels me?

My question was simple: "Can I change the formatting of the date" in regards to my History files in Rekordbox.

All I required was a polite "Yes" or "No".

I am from Australia our formatting is DD/MM/YYYY, to me it makes sense. if I could format my histories to reflect this then great! If not, then no big deal.

Simple.

I think I may have dealt with you before, I recognise your smug condescension. Now if you're not an employee of Pioneer, then fair enough, you have nothing to lose.

You can say what you want I guess, but regardless, you are presenting as a representative of Pioneer.

And I personally find your attitude very negative to the Pioneer brand.

EDIT: I see from your reply that the "Cunt factor" is part of the Pioneer culture.

Pulse

Nope, I just looked through your history and you haven't had the luxury of dealing with me in all my awesomeness.

Since you want a simple answer, here it is:
