cdj 900 nexus rekordbox button/ function not responding with laptop and rekordbox 4.o
I am trying to run rekordbox and my 2 900 nexus through the rekordbox function on decks but can't seem to get it to link.
I am using usb cables from each deck in to the laptop the laptop is using Intel i5 core ..and a vestax pmc 280 mixer.. no idea what to do..

You have to put the players in HID mode.
There's a difference between linking (which is done over the ethernet cables in export mode) and controlling the software (which is done over a USB cable in performance mode).
Which are you trying to do?
I keep hearing about HID mode, but when I try to find it in menu functions there doesn't appear to be any function to do this ??
