Performance dj audio settings for cdj350 using djm 350 mixer
Trying to use my cdj350's with rekordbox performance going through my djm 350 mixer. The problem I am having is all my music only comes through 1 channel on the mixer. I can't seem to get deck 1 through channel 1 and deck 2 through channel 2. I ca. Get both decks through either channel on the mixer. Is there an option for assigning 2 sound cards like you can in vdj. I am currently using the trial version but can not justify buying if it doesn't work.
regards.
matt.

Easy; use the aggregator tool we provide for this exact scenario. Instructions are here.
I am using a Windows 8.1 laptop.
have-you correctly set your ASIO path in REKORDBOX ?
have-you installed CDJ audio driver ?
In preference menu of RB, you must set channel L/R for each CDJ and each virtual deck in rekordbox.
default settings are maybe wrong or partialy assigned. On mine, i had L channel on first CDJ, and R channel on second CDJ...damned. but it's easy to correct it.
On the audio section on settings you get,
windows audio
pioneer cdj 350
2 Pioneer cdj 350
laptop sound card
then
asio
asio4all
pioneer cdj aiso
pioneer cdj/xdj asio
no matter which I choose apart from laptop sound card (as that comes through laptop speakers) the sound only comes through 1 channel on the mixer. Can be either channel depending on settings but can't get deck 1 on channel 1 and deck 2 on channel 2
i don't think that windows 8.1 could outputs same sound on multi-device (only WIN XP can do this).
You must choose your output device, it's CDJ or sound card, but not both.
On vdj you can set up for 2 sound cards. Each cdj 350 is a sound card. They can be assigned to left or right deck. They then play through the appropriate channel on the mixer. I am looking for the same option in rekordbox DJ.
rekordbox only lets me choose one or the other then plays the sound through the same channel for both units. I want to be able to assign deck 1 to channel 1 and deck 2 to channel 2 but this does not appear possible as none of the sound outputs seem to allow this. Unless I am wrong but I have not found it yet.
I was hoping that someone has had the same problem that can give an answer.
Hi, any updates on this, I'm experiencing the same problem with my setup (2 xdj 700s + Djm 350 mixer). Only 1 channel on the output.
