Rekordbox Playlist Issue

I have unfortunatley deleted the playlist and files from my Rekordbox. But I do still have the playlist on my USB stick. Is there a way of getting the playlist and songs back into Rekordbox along with cue and memory points?? Because when I import the songs back from my USB stick they I loose all cue points and memory cue's :(

@Noel > Unfortunately not. When you removed the source from rekordbox, the exported content no longer has a "match" on the computer, so it can't sync.

Depending on how many times you've opened/closed rekordbox since you deleted the playlists, you could actually recover a backup copy of your database. Tell me it's less than 3 times and I'll give you instructions.

Easy cheezy:

  • close rekordbox
  • go to Finder
  • go to the menu and select Go > Go to Folder...
  • copy/paste this: ~/Library/Pioneer/rekordbox/
  • you'll see datafile.edb, rename it datafile.edb.current
  • you should see several datafile.backup.edb files, select one which is larger in size than the current database and rename it datafile.edb
  • open rekordbox
  • find previously deleted playlists
  • profit
