XDJ-R1 Freeze!!!
Hi,
I was playing at a bar last weekend when my XDJ-R1 froze up!!....The song playing just stopped which is pretty much a DJ's worst case scenario?!! i was using an iPad mini connected to the R1.
it's running the latest firmware, Remotebox on the ipad i was using is the latest version.
Ive read the numerous previous posts about the unit freezing up but are you aware this is STILL an issue?
Any advice about a fix would be greatly appreciated as i don't feel i can use this unit as it currently is.

@Paul > Did remotebox itself continue to operate? What version of rekordbox are you preparing your drives with? Have you considered formatting and re-exporting your rekordbox collection to that device to test it again? It could simply be a bad track or a bad export database.

I'm not sure what remotebox did, I was confused as to what had happened for a second before i started my cued track on the other deck.
I've been using Rekordbox 3.2.1 since it was released. I can try reformatting the USB and reloading my collection but i gotta say I'm reluctant to use this unit when playing out now until i can be confident that it's going to do it's job.
Try the reformat first and let me know how that works out. Obviously you'd want to test that at home before going out to perform.
