Xdj-rx column change to artist
Is there a way to change the second column in the xdj-rx to artist in stead of rating. I changed it in rekordbox, but the xdj doesn't copy those settings. I couldn't find it in the xdj menu but perhaps i overlooked. Thanks in advance! Tim

There are a couple of ways to show additional information, one is by using the MENU to SORT... for example, if from the root menu you have selected TRACK, you'll see the track names listed. You can then sort them by pressing the MENU button and selecting one of the sort options (which can be set below). That will then show that sort criteria as the 2nd column.
If you want to have a default set of info displayed (but not sorted), you can change that within rekordbox by clicking on your USB device, then select the COLUMN tab and change your preference.
Note that you can also change your Category and Sort options here; simply add any additional criteria you wish to use.
Allright! At first, thanks for your quick reply, but i tried that and changed it in RB but nothing happened on the xdj. Than again, it says in the RB screen "select item which is shown next to track name on cdj"....
To be precise:
I would like to have the left column to show track name and the right artist.
I then would like to have it sorted on last added...
Yeah, without an RX here to verify, I wasn't 100% sure that would work.
Unfortunately you're looking to have 3 sets of information displayed, but the RX can only handle 2. If you want it to show the track name then sort by date added, you could do that.
No there's no option tonsort on date but i think thats the defaul function. I'll just have to keep the info button on. That'll do the trick for Now!
So, i've mij sorting on default within the playlists and have the info button on so i can still see all the info.
Again: thanks for the quick response!
Within the Device settings page, you can select the SORT tab and make changes to which fields are visible:
Just click the arrow to move them from Inactive -> Active and then you can see them on your USB device for the Menu > Sort options!
I know you can do that on cdj's and all, but not on the xdj-rx (or i'm an absolute dumbhead). As far as my knowledge goes, the xdj-rx remembers your setup if you change it on the player. It doesn't ask if you would like to import settings when you connect the usb device to the player aswell.
If you ask me, this could/should be an easier way to change your settings, but it's not available now if i'm correct.
Right, it doesn't ask to import the settings the same way a CDJ does, but there is still information (such as category / sort options) which are based on the USB drive itself. I'll have to get the engineers to confirm the display differences for me (until I get a sample unit myself to drill it into memory!)
