When I nudge my jog wheel on my CDJ2000 MK1 it sounds awful and stops the track on some occasions rather than slowing down the tempo. Anyone know if this is expensive to fix and does it involve a lot of labour?

Vinyl mode stops the track or spins back but CD mode is my only work around at the moment as I can safely nudge. It still sounds like it's bust though when I turn.

I think its a platter sensor / jog spring issue which is causing this problem on your deck. You'll need to contact technical support for more exact information / arrange having the unit fixed etc.
