[SOLVED] CUE, LOOP´s CDJ900 -> CDJ1000
Hello,
I need some Help, i would transfer the cue and loop data that iam save from the CD´s on a USB Stick.
then i copy the hidden pioneer folder to a FAT32 and also exFAT formated SD Card, both Cards can´t read any data on a CDJ1000
Its a 2GB ScanDisk Card, its not HC
Firmware is 4.11
Notebook OS is Windows 7

You can NOT transfer cue information from a CDJ-900 to a CDJ-1000 due to the architecture of the CDJ-900.
The way information is stored and read by the players are very different. (the cdj-900 uses much more detail in a way only the new cdjs can understand)
On the other hand CUE data from a CDJ-1000 IS backwards compatible with CDJ-900s/CDJ-2000s
hope this helps ;)
Oh thats bad, but i see this Video

and read this old topic
http://forums-archive.pioneerdj.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/537101963/m/9670049026
and i hope this work in both directions, becouse some peole write this in the comments.
the links and video you are showing are the other way around.
To my best knowledge it is not possible in any way to get info from the new players to the old ones.
@Roman > It is not possible to set cues in Rekordbox on an SD card and then use this on a CDJ1000 - that is an older generation unit.
[edit] Actually, I take that back. It may be possible but I'll have to test it out first. [/edit]
Not sure if this has been confirmed but I set cue points/loops on the CDJ-900 and saved them to the USB and transferred the PIONEER folder to an SD card for use on the CDJ-1000 Mk3 and it seems to work fine.
@Kelly > Thanks for reporting that as I haven't been able to get my hands on CDJ1000s at the moment.
