Correct way to record audio from DJM 600 to computer?
I am trying to record a mix from my DJM 600 which has two decks attached, to my computer. I have attached two xlr cables from the master out of the mixer into channels 1 and two of my sound card. When I try to record a mix I have to have the master gain on the mixer to 1 and the channel inputs on sound card to 1 to avoid going into the red, which seems really low. Is this the correct way ? Thanks

@DAN > What kind of a sound card are you using, and what software are you using to record with?
You should try using the RCA REC Outputs on the DJM-600 and run those to your sound card. I believe the REC out sets a standard/limit level so your recording should be easier.
