problems knobs ddj-ergo vs VDJ LE

Hi i have a few problems with the ddj-ergo and the virtual dj le software:

-       the master volume and headphone volume knobs works fine on the ddj-ergo  but the graphic on the Virtual DJ LE software doesn’t move.

-       when i mix, the gain knobs need a bit of a jiggle before they will work each time, i see that they have sometimes another position at the graphic on VDJ LE and the ddj-ergo

Kunal

Hi,

I've got the same problems with Virtual DJ LE en the gain knobs.

Sammy

as you can see in the screenshot provided below :

Go to your "Config" then go to "Options" disable all auto resets , This will keep the buttons in the same position as your controller even if another track is loaded.

LE does not provide those additional tabs within the configuration settings.

For @Kris and @Kunal > Did you have another version of VDJ installed prior to installing the version that came with the ERGO?  Have you updated the ERGO firmware to the latest version?

KrisBrac

I have installed only the version of VDJ that was on the cd-rom with the ddj-ergo (Virtual DJ LE Version 7.05).

Yes, latest ergo firmware is 1.20

Kunal

I have installed also only the VDJ LE from the cd.

My firmware is the latest one 1.20 and driver version is 1.100

I removed the pioneer software and VDJ LE and reinstalled everything(firmware update, Pioneer driver and Virtual DJ LE).

Still i've got the same problem.

Kunal

I 've got a another problem.

The pitch sliders are not responding.

Sometimes i must bring the slider up and down, and then i get response from the slider.

Yesterday i downloaded the software Serato Dj intro and installed it.

I've got also problems with this software.

  • The sample buttons doens't work
  • The backspin with Jogwheel doesn't work. I only hear a scratch sound not a backspin sound.

I have tried the controller on a another PC and used a another USB cable but i get the same problems.

I get the feeling that this is not a software problem, but a hardware problem

Pulse

I would try re-flashing the firmware.  I know a few units we did for Pioneer shows would appear as 1.1 and yet they acted as 1.0.

KrisBrac

i reflashing the firmware. Firmware is 1.1

But, same problems!

Kunal

Hi,

I send the controller back to my distributor.

They are going to check and test it

@KrisBrac do you test your controller with Serato Dj Intro software?

Yves Smolders

Guys, this is by design, read here, it's soft take-over.  If the software adjusts a setting for you, and it's not matching the knob, you must "wiggle" it until it follows.
