Music Files On External Hard Drive - Exporting To Seperate USB Wont Work

I recently required a new laptop, due to not having much space on the actual laptop itself I have decided to put all my raw music files and rekordbox database onto an external drive.

This all works great and runs very smoothly, however when I then try to export my playlists etc onto a USB for gigs it almost freezes on the export at around 41%, I have seriously tried everything here and it just wont complete the export.

Whats weird is that if I press "x" on the export it does appear to have somewhat completed from my knowledge, I havent actually tried this with exporting new files, ive only tried just exporting files I already had on the USB, but with some tunes being moved into a gig playlist.

Any help would be much appreciated as I have a gig tomorrow haha
