DDJ-800 No sounds coming through headphones

I'm running rekordbox on MacOS Monterey v12.7.3. As troubleshooting steps: 1) I have completely uninstalled rekordbox (including removing the files from the /Library directory). 2) I've downloaded and installed the latest firmware, rekordbox software (v6.8.3) and driver (v4.0.1). 3) I made sure the DDJ-800 driver is selected in preferences and the audio settings are as recommended. I only have sounds through the headphones when I click on the tracks on the playlist. However, no sounds come through once I load the tracks on the decks.
