after installing recordbox 7.0 on windows 10 it doesn't work . nothing happen when i started the program .

yep, same here. Installed it, double click the icon, and it does not start. v6.8.5 works fine still.

Dug a little deeper and found these errors in Event Viewer

 

Windows cannot access the file  for one of the following reasons: there is a problem with the network connection, the disk that the file is stored on, or the storage drivers installed on this computer; or the disk is missing. Windows closed the program rekordbox program file because of this error.

More info. I installed the trial version onto a newer windows 11 machine that never previously had RekordBox installed and it started up just fine. wtf is going on??

Bad thing, I solved it for me by uninstalling rekordbox 7 and reverting to latest 6.8. Hm, at least it started first time after installing, not showing HW-Unlock. Then, after 30 minutes of pale window on my Core i9-13900H w/32 GBytes RAM Win10Pro machine I decided to do a task kill and uninstall it again. Luckiyl, my alternatively connected XDJ-RX3 or DDJ-FLX10 are now running fine again with latest 6.8. I think, as there is no answer / information from Alpha, we have to wait until rekordbox 7 is operational. Maybe the most issues will be solved as it will be listed in Update Manager of V6.8? :-(

I am also waiting for at least some kind of answer here. It is not critical for me to use a rekordbox right now, but I would like to get feedback

So i have some sort of update. Not sure if its true or not. But we are basically out of luck because your CPU has to support AVX2 to run rb 7.0. So my PC doesn't support it, so i'm stuck with rb 6.8.

Apparently its the same issue with Ableton 12 where people without support for AVX2 are out of luck also.

So HWinfo or CPU-z to find out if your CPU supports AVX2.

Oh wow @Converted I think you're right! Feels  like a slap in the face because the message I get as a customer is "performance is more important than you: you'll just have to upgrade your PC". Not cool AlphaTheta. Really not cool.

 

 

FYI you can check your processor's AVX2 compatibility in Steam too (Help > System Information).

El problema me sucede con cualquier Rekordbox superior a  6.0 .

Intente todo
Reinstalar, Borrar archivos de blbliotecas y de extencion *.db
Borrar todo rastro de Recordbox en el registro de Windows. Reiniciar.
Borrar las carpetas alojadas en "C:\Users\"miusuario"\AppData\Roaming\Pioneer"
Pasar de Red Publica a Red Privada y viceversa
Desactivo el antivirus de Windows.
Desactivao el VPN
Desactivo el firewall de windows
Doy acceso tanto de entrada como de salida al sofware como al Agent desdela configuracion avanzada de firewall permitiendo abrir los puertos de comunicacion.
 
No logre solucionar mi problema.
