Rekordbox Lighting Macro Database Access
Hi,
The Macro Database currently isn't accessible, and may only be cutomized by users via the UI in Rekordbox Lighting mode. Should the storage of the file be accessible (i tried via SQL LIte 3 readers and it isn't easy), people could run a lot more automated changes to the macro without having to use the UI that makes it quite long/hard to use.

Hi Francis, I'm a Lighning user and would like to VOTE - Thumb UP your proposition - but I can't .- this forum only let me comments.
A sample use case : I bought a few old pars and I don't know the model. But its easy to guess the Midi channels. As I dont know the light model, I cant ask support for a new entry in Ligthning material DB. But it would be much more easier I enter a 'custom' light material - as i know midi channels. I dont undertand why Lightning does not have a feature of 'custom material' as it would be very very userful, also to access special FX that Lighning does not support.
An other use cas: when comes the time of parametrizing moving heads *Gobos* its so complicated and so long that a normal user just gives up. Lightning UI is very poor for ligthts/scenes parametrization and it would be much more easier to update directly in SQL Lite.
