DDJ-FLX4 controller takes a lot of time to start

I am an absolute beginner. When I hook up controller to my computer, the 2 in buttons blink for a long tie and it takes a while for everything to start. it takes good 3 -4 minutes. Is that normal?

That doesn't happen to me with FLX4.

Only "IN" buttons light? how about the "OUT" ones?

Are you using the usb cable that came with the unit? 

Does your computer have usb type c port? is your pc connected to power or in battery when u connect FLX4?
