Omnis Duo Time Display issue - Not behaving like rx2/xz

I've had an rx2 and xz for years, and when you touch the screen of either deck it changes between the time elapsed/remaining for that Individual deck - Which is so handy when mixing

But when you touch the screen of either deck on the omnis duo it changes between the time elapsed/remaining for BOTH decks unfortunately!

Is this a firmware update issue, or am i missing a setting? (As i'm so used to the rx2/xz behaviour)

Yves

Hi there,

It is the specification of the OMNIS-DUO (and OPUS-QUAD) that time display changes for both decks.
The OMNIS-DUO is a model that was planned to be branded differently from previous XDJs, hence it works differently.

Hi Yves, do you work for Pioneer DJ/Alphatheta?

Its just the rx2 and xz used to work exactly like the omnis duo does now i'm pretty sure, then a firmware update let you change the times on the screens individually (Which is so handy)

I can't think why Alphatheta would go backwards and think restricting their users to either seeing both time remaining or both time elapsed would be in any way beneficial -

Its making a new product far worse than the old one with less choice...

Hi,

I can share this feedback with our rekordbox development and Product Planning team so we can review it and add it to our list of considered future developments.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the OMNIS-DUO.
