You need to check two sources of information first.

First, you need to make sure the Operating System of your computer is compatible with the XDJ-AERO.

Second, you need to make sure that your OS is supported by version 7 of rekordbox.

As you can the minimum requirements for rekordbox 7 are Win 10 and macOS Monterey operating systems, however, XDJ-AERO is not compatible with these two versions.

Therefore, we cannot guarantee a smooth usage of the XDJ-AERO if you use it with version 7 of rekordbox.

Thanks Yves - however your link doesn't list the XDJ Aero as one of the units. Is it known as something else?

My Surface Go is running Windows 11, which Rekordbox 7.0 works with, as per the other link. However, the question is whether the XDJ Aero works with Rekordbox 7.0. Do you know the answer to this, please?

Hi Dan,

We'll only list the compatible DJ units when selecting a specific OS.

So if the XDJ-AERO does not appear under any OS, this very unit won't be compatible with that OS and rekordbox ver. 7.

Bear in mind that a license key will be required if you want to control rekordbox with your XDJ-AERO in MIDI control mode.

The same goes with rekordbox ver. 6, a subscription will be required.

The same error is coming up with 6.0 - please could i try 4.0 as I know that works?
