DDJ 400 soundcard
DDJ 400 No RCA Output
Has anyone had issues with this since the recent firmware update? I can play master output fine through my laptop soundcard but absolutely nothing is coming out of the RCA port. Have tried all the usual troubleshooting stuff. Tried various different cables, even into an external soundcard so you can tell from green/red clip lights if there is a signal, and there definitely isnt a signal. Made sure Rekordbox is completely up to date and tried various USB cables to connect to laptop.
Just to reiterate, master output is fine from laptop but seems that RCA output on the controller is dead.
Any help would be well appreciated!

Hi there,
Please make sure to select DDJ-4000 WASAPI as your audio device in rekordbox.
Yves
I also have the same problem. When I select DDJ-400 Wasapi as audio device, I get 0 sound from the laptop speakers but I can cue sound using headphones. Then when I switch to another audio source (speakers connected through 3.5mm jack), I get sound but I can't cue headphones :(
Hi Teboho,
If you select the DDJ-400 WASAPI as your audio device, the output will be sent via the DJ controller. Therefore you'll have the the MASTER output sent to the speakers connected to the DDJ-400, and you'll be able to monitor via your headphones.
If you select your computer as audio device, the output will be output from your computer only. So no output will be sent to your DJ controller, hence the reason why you cannot monitor with your headphones from the DJ device.
If you want to get the MASTER output sent to your computer's built-in speakers while being able to monitor with your headphones connected to the DDJ-400, make sure to select DDJ-400 WASAPI as your audio device, and activate PC MASTER OUT on your Preferences > Audio.
I hope this makes sense.
Yves
