Hello all,

I recently bought the DDJ - FLX4 controller and am having trouble getting it started. When I have everything plugged in the board turns on just fine and everything lights up then when the lights go off only some of them stay on. The play and cue buttons are not lighting up so I am unable to play anything. I am using Serato DJ PRO. I have a MacOS using Monterey 12.7.6. I have 8gb storage Processer is 1.8 GHz Dual Core. I am just wondering what might be the problem here.

Hi,

First, make sure that you follow the troubleshooting issues in these articles:

 

Make sure you are using a stable USB connection.

  • Try another USB cable;
  • Try to connect the USB cable to other USB ports;
  • Disconnect other products connected to the computer;
  • Make sure to connect the DJ device directly to the computer without a USB hub;
  • If you are using a USB converter, please make sure you use a genuine Apple product for higher stability.

USB-C to USB Adapter - Apple (UK)

If your DJ device is not recognized, try to connect your DJ device to another computer and see if this makes a difference.

 

Make sure the latest firmware version is installed on your DDJ-FLX4 controller.
