XDJ-RX3 Left Jog wheel touch " jittery "

So I've recently noticed my left jogs wheel touch function is really " jittery " , if i hold my hand / finger on it , it turns on and off really quickly, which makes cueing tracks next to impossible right now.... I have admitedly spilled a drink into it before, but opened it up and cleaned it with rubbing alcohol and Q-tips , and its been working fine for months after that , but I suspect someone may have spilled a drink into it again , as when I opened it up this time , there was new stains / juices I would have never left behind the first time I opened it up. All this being said , what should I look for most when dealing with a jittery jog sensor? I know they're capacitive , but not quite sure where the actual sensor is!
