Rekordbox Deletes Music On Device When trying to sync and the device runs out of space.

I use Rekorbox to sync playlists to my device/usb. Every time the device fills up Rekorbox pops up and says "not enough free space" and "items no longer in playlists will be deleted". There is no other option that to click ok on both of these pop ups. Rekorbox then proceeds to delete thousands of songs from the device and everything needs to be redone from scratch. This has happened several times, surely working with a device that is full is a common situation and why does it not give you some options rather than these two pop ups.
