DDJ-RZX video freezing with Mac but not with Windows

Dear community,

DDJ-RZX owner here, have used the controller extensively with Rekordbox up to version 6.8.5 on PC with great success. For unrelated reasons I'm switching to the latest MacBook Pro (2024) and I have setup the same Rekordbox version 6.8.5. I've had nothing but problems ever since, with the table's 3 screens becoming unresponsive after a minute of playback, sometimes just a few dozen seconds. 

The other functionality of the controller continues to work: buttons, jog wheels, song playback, effects, etc., all work fine. Interface with the software works too (scroll through the library, load songs on decks, etc). It is only the controller's screens that are frozen, all 3 of them, until I power-cycle the controller.

DDJ-RZX fw 1.10

Rekordbox 6.8.5 and 6.7.7 tested (same results : freeze when plugged in to the Mac)

Rekordbox 6.8.5 works fine on PC, Windows11 x64.

I also installed the latest DDJ-RZX Audio drivers v4.0.3 for MacOS Sonoma, didn't make a difference.
