DJM-900NXS2 rec app

I would like to connect to my iPhone15Pro using a USB connection to the USB input on the upper right of the DJM900NXS2 main unit and record using the DJM-REC application. (1) iPhone is USB type C, but Is the DJM-900NXS2 USB Type A? (1) Is it compatible with AlphaThata's DJM-REC app? (2) Does it support AlphaThata's DJM-REC app? (3) Does DJM-REC only connect to iPhone15Pro via USB?
